7 To decorate the cupcakes, dust the counter with cornstarch and roll out the fondant to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Using a 2½ to 3-inch round cutter, cut out 24 circles to cover the cupcakes.

8 Fit a pastry bag or parchment paper cone with a fine plain piping tip and fill with the Piping Gel “Blood.” Squeeze the gel into the center of each fondant circle, smearing and dripping as you wish.

9 Place assorted candies in the pools of gel. If desired, a Rat, Knife, Tooth, and Fly can also look very effective when added to a few of the cupcakes.
